About

As a photographer I explore and capture the natural world we are rooted in. My work translates my love of nature and fascination with trees. I combine photography, video and text with (scientific) research and archival materials.

For me, nature extends beyond grand landscapes—it embraces my backyard, green spaces within the city, and every corner where the natural world intertwines with our daily lives.

Particularly among trees, I find a sense of freedom and belonging. I experience a profound connection that fuels my desire to tell my visual stories. 

The dynamic and complex relationship between humans and their natural environment frequently becomes a central theme in my work, emanating my desire to bring humans closer to the natural world they are an integral part of.
